Dr. Johnson joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida in January, 2008 after being in private practice in South Florida since 1991. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the Southeastern University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986 and completed his general surgery residency and his Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI.
Dr. Johnson is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology and is active in the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, Florida Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Florida Medical Association and the Broward County Medical Association.
Dr. Johnson’s areas of expertise include:

Dr. Johnson has presented research findings at several National Physician Meetings and has published in a variety of journals including the Journal of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology and the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Johnson has held numerous leadership positions in the local hospital community including Florida Medical Center, Plantation General Hospital, Westside Regional Medical Center and Coral Springs Medical Center.
Dr. Johnson maintains privileges at Coral Springs Medical Center and Westside Regional Medical Center.
